DIY Lip Balm Boxes

1. Choose a sturdy box that will hold up to frequent use. We used an old basketball box.
2. Cut a piece of cardstock to fit inside the box, and trace around it with a pencil. Make sure the cardstock fits snugly against all sides of the box.
3. Turn the box so that the front is facing down, and using a craft knife, cut out the traced circle from the cardstock. You should now have two pieces of cardstock – one for the lid, and one for the body of the balm container.

5. Now glue on your second piece of cardstock, fitting it snugly over the top of the first piece of lid material so that there are no gaps between them (the gap where you cut out your circle). Trim any excess plastic if necessary so that everything is flush when finished!
