Prior to his retirement, he worked as a budget analyst for Headquarters DESCOM at Letterkenny Army Depot.
After his retirement, he worked as a starter and ranger at Majestic Ridge Golf Course.
He was a life member of the Detrich-Brechbill American Legion Post 612, St.
Thomas and of the Mercersburg VFW.
He was also a member of the National AARP and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
He was an avid sports enthusiast, was active in the Broad Top City Oldtimers Baseball Association and was a member of the Broad Top City Oldtimers Baseball Association Hall of Fame.

Frederick Lynn HAZZARD, born Sept.
His twin brother, Michael Harrison Hazzard, died Wednesday.
They were the twin sons of Tina Hazzard of Saxton.
Surviving are their maternal grandparents.
Jerry and Melva Hazzard of Saxton, and an uncle, Frederick Lynn Hazzard.
One brother, Ridge Michael Hazzard, survives at home.
