How to Preorder God of War Ragnarok PS5 DualSense Controller

God of War Ragnarok for the PS5 DualSense can now be preordered. Sony still has controllers for sale if you are looking for stock. (Right now, Sony is the only store that has stock.)

During the most recent State of Play, Sony announced that a God of War Ragnarok PS5 DualSense Controller will be released in November to celebrate the release of the highly anticipated sequel. And you’ll want this limited-edition notepad!

This will be the first time Sony has made a special edition DualSense controller for a game. God of War Ragnarok looks like it deserves that title, and we’re sure it will be in our list of the best PS5 games soon after it comes out this winter.

The limited-edition God of War Ragnarok PS5 DualSense Controller will come out on the same day as the game (Wednesday, November 9) and is likely to sell out quickly. Since the God of War Ragnarok Collector’s Edition sold out in minutes, we expect PlayStation fans (and, unfortunately, scalpers) to be just as eager to get their hands on this super-cool controller.

God of War DualSense doesn’t come out until November, but you can get it early by preordering it for God of War Ragnarok PS5 DualSense starting on Tuesday, September 27. In recent years, there has been more demand for limited-edition gaming items. Here’s everything you need to know to preorder the God of War Ragnarok PS5 DualSense Controller.

Where to Preorder God of War Ragnarok PS5 DualSense Controller

Up until 9:30 a.m. On September 29 at 12:01 a.m. ET, you can start preordering God of War Ragnarok for PS5 DualSense. Right now, Sony still has stock, but it looks like both Target and Amazon are out.

On November 9, you’ll be able to buy the limited-edition God of War PS5 controller. We think the first round of preorders will go quickly, but we hope Sony will have more. We also think that GameStop and Best Buy will have stock.

What is God of War Ragnarok PS5 Controller

The God of War Ragnarok PS5 DualSense Controller is mostly what it sounds like. This limited-edition DualSense wireless controller is being released to celebrate the upcoming release of the next game in the popular God of War series.

The controller has a two-tone design with “cool blue” plates over a “icy white” shell. The touchpad is decorated with a bear and wolf symbol that stands for Kratos and Atreus, the main characters of God of War Ragnarok. Overall, it’s a pretty nice controller, and it’s not too obvious where it got its ideas from either.

It’s important to note that this is just a regular DualSense with a cosmetic makeover. The pad still works the same as the regular one. So this isn’t the recently announced DualSense Edge controller, which will have several improvements and new features. We’re still waiting for pricing and release information for that.

To celebrate the release of God of War: Ragnarok, a custom controller with a wolf theme is being made.

Sony showed off the limited-edition controller for God of War Ragnarok before today’s State of Play. The controller and the game will both come out on November 9.

The Limited Edition God of War Controller

The controller is blue and white, but the Nordic-style wolves on the middle button are what really make it stand out. Due to their sizes, they probably represent Kratos and Atreus. They also go well with the lupine friends who were in the new gameplay trailer.

The controller also has its own trailer, which is shown above. It focuses on the wolves and the cold theme of the game, which is based on the Norse myth of Fimbulwinter, a winter that never ends and means the end of the world. The fight scene in the video has already been seen this year, so there isn’t much else to see that’s new.

There isn’t much information about how “limited” this limited edition controller is likely to be, but given how popular Sony’s other big accessories have been in the past few months, you might want to act quickly when pre-orders start on September 27 if you want to get one.

Today’s State of Play was about fights that were very rough. We got a new trailer for God of War: Ragnarok, as well as news about Tekken 8 and two very different samurai games that both look great.
