Marc Marquez confirmed to be absent from MotoGP Argentina

“Marc Marquez visited his ophthalmologist, Dr. Sánchez Dalmau, at the Hospital Clinic in Barcelona last Monday, where he underwent his second medical check-up after the crash during the Indonesian Grand Prix a week ago,” wrote the Repsol Honda team.

“In this new examination, Dr. Sánchez Dalmau confirmed that Marc Marquez’s diplopia is showing significant improvement and reaffirms that his vision development is very good. Meanwhile, Dr Sanchez Dalmau also added information regarding Marquez’s latest condition. According to him, the second neuro-ophthalmological evaluation carried out on Marc Marquez last Monday has shown very good progress for the fourth right nerve palsy affected by the fall that occurred at the 2022 Mandalika MotoGP. “Recovery is not complete, and Marc Marquez must follow the prescribed therapeutic rules exist with conservative treatment,” he said.
