The academic year at Michigan Ross MBA is split into two 14-week terms, referred as Fall and Winter. These two terms are further split into two sessions of seven weeks each.

Either of the two years can be used to finish the degree requirements. Students at Ross place bids on one of the many Multidisciplinary Action Projects that are offered at the end of the first year. You can choose your second-year electives with the aid of these projects. Integrated Product Development and Entrepreneurial Turnaround Management are two of the most well-liked electives at Ross.

First-Year Core Curriculum

The Multidisciplinary Action Project is one of nine courses that make up the first-year core curriculum (MAP). Ross students have access to a variety of experiential learning opportunities, but the Multidisciplinary Action Project stands out. No other classes are taken during this time, which takes up the whole last quarter of the first year.
