She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister: Richard, Gary, Ted and Reid Alloway Mrs.
Wright was of the Methodist faith.
She enjoyed playing bingo and was a member of the Captain Phillips VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Saxton; the Six Mile Run America Legion Ladies Auxiliary, where she was treasurer for several years; and the Saxton Sportsman Association.
She was employed as a presser at sewing factories in Mount Union and Saxton.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. The Blair County Library system offers a similar service for any and all obituaries that were published in the Altoona Mirror.
The only exception to this rule is if the obituary was published prior to 1929.
Surviving are a daughter and a son: Mrs.
Thomas (Sherry) Love, Wood, and Matt Wright, Savannah, Ga.
There are three grandchildren.
Also surviving are the following siblings: Mrs.
Harry “Fuzz” (Nancy) Fessler.

Interment will be made in the Duvall Cemetery, Six Mile Run.
McCARTNEY, 86, of 160 Aspen Lane, Apt.
He had been in failing health for the past six months.
He married Dorothy Smith Feb.
McCartney survives at home, along with three nieces and four nephews.
McCartney was a lifelong member of the First Regular Baptist Church and served the church in numerous capacities as a former Sunday School secretary, deacon and member of the church bowling team.
