GLUNT, 89, Carlisle and formerly of Knobsville, died Friday, September 7, 2001 in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born July 4, 1912 in Knobsville, he was the son of the late Jacob and May (Mock) Glunt.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, the former Blanche Krugh, and a brother, Reynolds Glunt of Carlisle.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Woods, and three brothers: Paul, Malcolm and Willis Glunt.
He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, the Lamara Club and the Golden Age Club, all of Carlisle. Joe Alan ATHERTON, 36, of McVeytown, R.

He was united in marriage to Hilda E.
He was also a life-member of the Belleville Fire Company.
A Mass Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.
Saturday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Lewistown, with Rev.
Interment will be in St.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Funeral services were held in Carlisle.
Burial was made in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens in West Pennboro Township.
