  3. Choose User Accounts.
  4. Click on Change UAC Settings.
  5. Tap on Continue.
  6. Turn down the option to Never Notify.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Restart your computer.

Method 4: Rename Certified Payroll Service (Service) folder

  1. Press the Windows key + R.
  2. The File Explorer window will be displayed.
  3. Click on This PC.
  4. Navigate to Local Disk C.
  5. Select the Program Files.
  6. Click on Intuit.
  7. Open the suitable QuickBooks folder.
  8. Select Components.
  9. Click on Payroll folder.
  10. Right-click on the CPS folder.
  11. Select Rename. Type CPSOLD.
  12. Hit Enter.
  13. Open QuickBooks to create new CPS folder.
  14. Download the latest Payroll Tax Table.

Method 5: Re-install QuickBooks with Clean Install Tool.

  1. Uninstall QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Run the QuickBooks Clean Install Tool.
  3. Rename all installation folders.
  4. Reboot your system.
  5. Reboot your system.
