Viaan Kapoor was born in Bangalore, Karnataka, India on April 8, 1995. Given that Viaan was reared with ancestral leanings from a Punjabi family while privately harbouring hopes for a career in movies, his mother, politician Sakeena Patel, is a single mother. Viaan started a modelling career while in college, and after three years, he concentrated on filming VFX motion movies. He has stated that he would skip courses to work on VFX designing and learn Hollywood filmmaking, acting, and directing. When obtaining his commercial pilot licence in South Africa, he told his parents that he wanted to become a filmmaker.
