Dallas, TX, February 28, 2026 — Gloxad Academy has announced its participation in the USAII’s Global AI Hackathon 2026, positioning the institution at the forefront of artificial intelligence education and innovation across Africa. Through this initiative, Gloxad Academy is enabling its students to compete alongside more than 20,000 participants from over 50 countries in one of the world’s largest student-focused AI competitions, taking place in June 2026.
The USAII’s Global AI Hackathon 2026, organized by the United States Artificial Intelligence Institute (USAII®), the world’s leading AI Certifications and Training provider, empowers students with a hands-on opportunity to design real-world solutions using artificial intelligence while building critical skills in creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving.
By leading participation from Africa, Gloxad Academy is setting a new benchmark for future-ready education on the continent, ensuring its students gain global exposure and the skills needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving digital economy.

A Global Opportunity for African Talent
During the virtual event, students will:
- Work in teams of 2–5 to solve real-world AI challenges
- Collaborate with peers locally and internationally
- Participate in a global kickoff and preparation activities
- Design and submit solutions during a two-day innovation sprint
- Present projects for international judging
All participants will receive a certificate of participation, while top teams will receive cash prizes and earn global recognition and advanced USAII® certifications.
Importantly, no prior coding or AI experience is required, making the program accessible to students from diverse academic backgrounds, including technology, business, design, science, and the humanities.
